Well It's a bran new year and It's my favouite time of year. Not for the weather (been drowning in rain constant rain here lol it seems at least it's not snow) ;but for new beginnings and new starts. New projects to start and time to organize and sort out rooms. That's what i have been doing for the last few weeks. I have aslo finished off sock #6 and started #7 on the last pair of 7. My friends are very good about it being delayed for xmas. I did give them some hand knitted dishcloths so I didn't leave them empty handed. They knew I was on a deadline making 5 other pairs. They were willing to wait a couple of weeks. I am having to move to a cheaper yarn option and have found Kroy Patons which is ok not my absolute favorite but when you are making socks by the dozens and on a limited income as I am you have no other option. The only thing I don't like they seem to have little woody bits to them I just pull them out as I see them gone! and it makes it a little less scratchy. I just puck those bits out. Great price just wish they had more colour options.
I am on a new kick Mochi Mochi and found those to knit I have done two so far but I lack in solid colours and really pointy needles so I am having a little bit of trouble picking up the tiny stitches. My tension is really tight but so far so good. I have knitted the teeny tiny frog and teeny tiny snow man. And I just got the book in the mail and I can't wait to knit those up some time. I will add pictures soon. ok here is my teeny tiny frog he was a last minute gift I knitted up Christmas Eve for my sister and made in to a Christmas cracker to give. It was a hit and now he keeps her company on her computer at work.... I had tons of ends to sew more then i knew what to do with but was a hoot to make. :)
