Well It's a bran new year and It's my favouite time of year. Not for the weather (been drowning in rain constant rain here lol it seems at least it's not snow) ;but for new beginnings and new starts. New projects to start and time to organize and sort out rooms. That's what i have been doing for the last few weeks. I have aslo finished off sock #6 and started #7 on the last pair of 7. My friends are very good about it being delayed for xmas. I did give them some hand knitted dishcloths so I didn't leave them empty handed. They knew I was on a deadline making 5 other pairs. They were willing to wait a couple of weeks. I am having to move to a cheaper yarn option and have found Kroy Patons which is ok not my absolute favorite but when you are making socks by the dozens and on a limited income as I am you have no other option. The only thing I don't like they seem to have little woody bits to them I just pull them out as I see them gone! and it makes it a little less scratchy. I just puck those bits out. Great price just wish they had more colour options.
I am on a new kick Mochi Mochi and found those to knit I have done two so far but I lack in solid colours and really pointy needles so I am having a little bit of trouble picking up the tiny stitches. My tension is really tight but so far so good. I have knitted the teeny tiny frog and teeny tiny snow man. And I just got the book in the mail and I can't wait to knit those up some time. I will add pictures soon. ok here is my teeny tiny frog he was a last minute gift I knitted up Christmas Eve for my sister and made in to a Christmas cracker to give. It was a hit and now he keeps her company on her computer at work.... I had tons of ends to sew more then i knew what to do with but was a hoot to make. :)

Up date
Well almost finished the toe of these socks now hope to get them done today. Thought I do a quick up date of what I have been up too.
I got a bamboo roller and some glaze in the mail will take a photo soon I get behind on that lol. but having fun with that. Knitting is taking first place right now; However I would like to get on to making more beads soon and bead markers. I have also got in to sculpey's and fimo polymer clay. To make beads and bead pendants. We shall see how that goes. I also would like to get in to making polymer clay charms as well I have started with just a couple colours and we will start from there. It's so cheap in the states but expensive here. Sculpeys is almost 3.39 about. and polymer was 2.29 I didn't write down all the prices but I will one day. I will do a photo of a Michale's haul that I did. I didn't want to shop at all this month but I broke down and did. I need a pick me up and bit of a creative bug to keep me going. I always looking for ways to work with my hands the more I work with my hands the less I can make them shake. I haven't played with fimo since I was a child we got some for Christmas that my Grandmother brought back from a trip from Germany ( I think I will have to ask her) a huge giant pack of it and we had such fun with it that was in the early 70's lol...
Just finished toes Done! Yay!!! Now on to sock #5 woot! these ones will be a grey shade I don't usually use solid colours but they were requested grey. I have three more to do in grey. lol. I hope I can get them done when I really want to make my beads lol... Pictures soon.

Well I have finished my third pair of socks last Friday on Nov, 11, 2011. I will try and add a picture soon. I haven't taken one. On to my fourth pair. Had to redo all ready got to the heal part and dropped a few stitches, I tried to fix it but made a mess of it. So I tried ripping back a few rows well that didn't go well so i ended up redoing the whole sock. I have been knitting like mad the last three days it seems. I would have been at least at the toe by now. sigh... I am not using Blue moon fiber arts this time I am using Fortissima Socka/Mexiko Colour. It feels so much different then Blue moon. This is a teen's sock so that's why I am using this type other then that I usually like Blue moon Fiber arts. They are supper soft and squishy and lovely to work with. The colours are to die for and can't get enough of when I order I often want to order 2 or three of the same colours. But on a tight yarn budget I sometimes have to use other yarns. It's just not right. I feel as I am cheating some how. If I could I would knit all Blue Moon Yarns. I will Post pictures soon. I hope to get them up soon. :)
Eta; I broke one of my needles :O I stepped on it. My knitting fell from my chair before I saw it and then I heard it. "snap" and felt it. My heart sank. Oh My no no no... Thankfully it was only just one and I had a spare. But I won't be able to knit with five lol. Oh sad day when you break a needle. That's the thing with wood needles.
Oh I also got some beads given to me from a garage sale today just some odds and ends of beads to use up for stitch markers. I lucked out some are too big and heavy to use but there are allot of seed beads that I can put to good use. I also got some bracelets that were made up that I can use as well that are tied in a string. So I am finding other places to find beads that aren't so expensive then the bead shop. You may not get exactly what you want; but for just practice it's a good build your collection slowly. Beads are everywhere. You just got to know where to look for them.

My First Blog
My first blog, Inspired by reading others I'd thought I'd give it a try. My first love is knitting socks, and sock yarn of course and I have 5 to knit up by Christmas time I hope I can do it in time. I have two down and three more to go. Unless I get asked to do more. These are all requested and I love to do them at least I hope the are lol. Who doesn't like to wear a nice warm cozy wool pair of sock in the cold mornings when our toes are freezing. Store bought socks just aren't the same and they don't hug your feet in the same way.
Will i have the guts to publish this in the world wide web for every one to read I don't know. but for now it's a great way for me to keep track. Maybe one day I will be brave enough to post it live. :D ♥
I don't know how much I will post but we will see.
